Default I keep havin bizzare brake issues

I keep getting this rubbing feeling and sound. So I break the caliper apart, reset the rotor and pads, clean everything out and then I get squealing while braking with a constant non-compressed sound. Like the caliper just isn't opening all the way and while I drive the pads are still rubbing a bit. So I do the whole thing over again and still then go back to rubbing while driving. Like it sounds like fresh metal slabs grinding against each other. Like a low moan/hum similar to a truck's braking system but it doesn't just happen during braking. Sometime at high speeds and turns.

I've inspected everything but have not found out what is happening. The pads are Red's and rotors are ATE Power. Both with very decent and even wear. Any ideas guys?

oh yeah, but the problem seems more mechanical than that.

Default have you tried bleeding the brake lines... might have a air bubble in there.

Default hmm, never thought of that.

thanx. Some of this could have been jostled around when the car fell on the drivers side when my jack gave out on me. This is all coming from the driver's side.

Default That what the problem was on my car. Took it for inspection and mechanic replaced the front brake

pads. When I got the car back it sounded exactly like that. I took it back to him, and the invoice (free of charge of course) said "re-adjust distance between backing plate and brake disc". Sound is gone. =)
