I need advice from the braintrust...Speedometer needle is bouncing ...
between 60mph & 80mph. It then settles down after bringing speed down to about 50mph. I can then accelerate to 60 and have a steady needle. This is with and without AC on. Could this be the speed sensor going bad?

i have a similar problem. most of the users in the forum have told me that it is most likely the instrument cluster/speedometer before it is the speed sensor on the trans. go to a boneyard and get another cluster.
