I need consultation from someone who knows the 7A motor inside and out
could someone please give me some names of people who can help?
I guess my engine problems are far beyond basic repairs and even my pops who has been a professional mechanic all of his life says I need to get in touch with someone who really knows this motor...
time to bring in the big guns : /
Hard to believe after all this time I am still unable to diagnose the problem. Been working on this for over 6 months now! #$%&

Re: i feel for you 90/90Q, i've spent the last 6 months as well trying to fix my 7a
2 dead cylinders, #4 and 5. Strangely, there is fuel and spark getting to the cylinders. I've scoped it, built a fixture to watch the injectors fire (did not measure flow though, by eyeball they were flowing alright). Checked timing, replaced <i>everything</i> (been on the forum long enough to know all the usual suspects), checked compression. Pretty much you name it I've tried it and I still can not find a clue as to what the problem is. I am going to try swapping a few more injectors injectors(again) and hopefully that will give me a clue...
