Default Check battery cable down to starter, terminal ends that are rotten...

and also check the strap from the solenoid on the starter to the starter itself, those do rot away and you won't get enough juice from the solenoid to the starter.

If all that is intact I would wager you have a bad starter/solenoid, since they come in a pair you gotta buyer a starter, rebuilt is fine.

Try pop starting the car as well, tow it, push it down a hill, push it with 2-3 people, and see if it will in fact run.

Also for fun use jumper cables to jump your starter. With a direct 12v to the starter itself it should fire right up, watch out for the sparks. I take a useless big flat blade screwdriver, clamp the positive end of the jumper cable to it then poke the starter post, arcs up real nice, but it's a safe way to get in there. Try not to touch any other metal and keep your hand on the plastic handle

Honestly if you've jumped it and it still clicks it's either a bad cable to the solenoid, bad strap from solenoid to the starter, or a bad solenoid/starter.

Cheers,

Default Puts the battery under a "starting load"

Basically, it tests the battery under a 12.5 volt load at about 600 amps, if the battery is bad, the voltage will drop from 12.5 quickly while the load is being adminstered over 15 seconds. Most bad batteries will drop from 12.5 down to lower than 6 under load. A good battery will drop only to about 10.5 and hold strong there until the load is off - then it will quickly rebound to 12.4 - 12.5. The machine then monitors the voltage drop and rebound to determine whether the battery is bad or good.

Default Im parked going up a hill, so I might have to tow it around the block or something.

I wish there was another way to see what one of the three was the problem.

Default no, NEVAR!

Yeah it can be moved, but I am far too doped up on pain meds to do anything for a while.
