I searched the archive. Anyone have a 7A stroker...

Not worth it unless you're going ITB, standalone, bag of snakes (if you don't already have one)
ligthen the valve train, strip the car, etc.
Can turbo what you already have, for cheaper.
If you're doing it to be unique, than that is differnt. If you're doing it for power, just not worth it.

Depends on what you're trying to do...
- I think squidx9 has a fully built 7a pushing 300hp.
- There is a dyno of a 7a with cams, head work, and intake TB porting showing 200whp (not a stroker).
- The stroker gives more torque than hp gains plus which stroker, the 92.8 motorsport or the 95.5 eurovan?
- with my build I'm praying for more than 98whp. With luck 210 crank but I haven't had much luck.
- a_CQ is doing straight standalone on a 7a and is ready for dyno pulls to tune it up, so we should have some more numbers to go on soon.

No
I have one but it runs on C12. It idles sometimes, depends on the temp and the humidity. It also depends on the fuel.
When I used to run Sunoco Standard or Supreme I used to have good days and bad. But once I switched to VP it all settled out.
It's had a LOT of work done to it and it puts down around 330. But it has massive amounts of torque.
If you're thinking of it for a road car....don't.

Power from a stroker 7A is proportional to the amount of money you put into it
