Default as i was taking out my instrument cluster today...

to replace the bulb in the temp display. I plugged the cluster back in to check if the new bulb lit up, turned the ignition on, and saw this flashing bulb haging down in the back of the dash were the cluster would be. The bulb is by itself with just 2 wires runing to it, it is clear and has a roundish socket where the blub plugs in. When you first turn the car on (as in running) it flashes for a good 10 seconds then stays on till you shut the car off. There is no holes on the cluster where a light belongs or anywhere else i can see..any idea where it goes too???

thanks

Default strange... got a pic?

when i removed my cluster, and plugged it back in to test, the airbag light would flash then go solid until i cleared the codes with a VAG tool.

Default get this..

my airbag light was covered with a piece of paper just like the abs off,top down, and CAT lights. I took that cover off to see what it would of been for. So i do not have a light in the airbag spot. If this light was ment to go there why would it be conected to a wire?
I dont have a digi cam so no pics

o and every time i try to clear codes they wont clear. I hold the wires there for 4 seconds and when i check to see if they were cleared its still there.
