Default Excellent!! How do I save this? Also, two questions...

Questions.
1. How does the audi tool grab the cam seals and is it any easier?
2. If you take off the valve covers, does that make the cam seal job any easier?

I also don't know how the seal extractor works but I do know that it'll cost you $347 for both tools. My seal puller was $10 and my PVC was free.

I'm 99% sure the seal will not be visible to you with just the valve cover off. Plus you need to slide the old and new off of the front of the shaft so you're going to have to remove the sprockets anyway.

Default Nice instructions with photos!

I did mine and started on a write up, but didn't take nearly as many pictures. No need now with this.

I had to take off the belt again when I went all the way down and pulled the oil pump to replace the gasket and seal, and oil pan gaskets...and then again when my pump wouldn't pull up any oil.

Not a drip of oil on the underside anymore though

I'm in Northern California and have the two tools so if anyone needs a hand with theirs in the area let me know.

I'd be glad to pay forward the help I've gotten here.
