I am upgrading my system and was wondering if it is worth the extra money to get components, or should I just get the speakers and no tweeters. The 5 1/4 components are $150, and the speakers are $80.
I am getting 4 inch kappas for the dash also.
What do you think. Will the components sound that much better?
Also about how much do you think it would cost to get a H.U. and speakers installed with all new wiring?

why not go for 6.5, they fit.

I installed the infinity's set in the rear and they sound great!

Like inferno said, highs and mids are way more defined. I find the tweetys have a bit too much treble. But I haven't gotten around to lowering the db's on the crossovers yet.

I'de say it's definatly worth it to go with the set. Plus the space is already there to mount both. I just ran all new wiring at the same time with a new H.U. Much easier that way. I stuck witht he stocks in front, but am running 175w through a 12" blau sub in the back. Sounds incredible. Bomp Bomp...
