Well I've decided to replace both knock sensors (164k on the originals) with hope it helps. A lot of researching the web about K-sensors has me hoping this is my hesitation problem. $45 shipped for both (Bosch)sensors is worth the expense (thanks Ebay). Fingers crossed...

*** Update***
I replaced both knock sensors and I'm happy to report that they seem to have solved my hesitation issue. Pushed the rpms well beyond the 3500+ mark and she accelerated smoothly. Came to a stoplight and upon takeoff she was smooth as I hoped for. I will update again if anything is to change. I want to thank all those that offered up suggestions and advice.
