Default Instrument Cluster Bulbs

Just installed a new instrument cluster from another audi and everything works. The only thing that doesn't seem to be working is the background lights for the RPM and Speed. Can anyone show me where these bulbs are located on the cluster and how to tell if the bulb is actually burnt out and not something else? This is my first car and have never really replaced clusters.

Default Squarish plastic things sticking up on the back side of the cluster are the bulb holders

you can see them in your old cluster. They twist and pull out. If you are lucky, some bulbs from your old cluster are still good.

Default These are the bulbs locations of those that control the illumination of the cluster...

Thanks for the help and the bulbs ended up being fine but theres still no light. What else could be the problem since the bulbs are still good? I tried using the dimmer to see if the lights would come back on and it doesn't seem to do anything.

Default I'd get a wiring diagram and see if you can figure it out...

...or maybe you simply have a bad cluster...

Have you tested the bulbs elsewhere to confirm they are good, or just looked at them?

Well I have two sets on both of my instrument clusters and they seemed fine. I just remember one night flooring it and the lights shutoff on the dash.
