Default Exactly, when asked for a straight answer you can't back up your astounding claims....

Hopefully nobody is out measuring clearances around their driveshafts hoping to gain some speed by relocating all their accessories.

Default AFAIK the gear driven 20V's were good right up to 8k

Might be higher but like mine it was limited at 8k.

The book that came with mine lists the shift point at 7k.

Default They used two belts for redundency. Not because many American cars do that.

So when they are rallying there is a smaller chance that they will loose the alt and p/s. I knew you knew that Cq20v, just clarifying for people;-)

Default The less stuff you have running, the less load on the alternator.

If you over-load it, you get dim lights, etc. Kind of like when the bass hits in certain cars it dims the lights.

Yours may be different than others, as it has a longer stroke?

I just know the turbo used on the IMSA engine is large and needs revs to spool and make power...

Default no where does it say that 7500rpm is the max for the engine. It just says that at 7500 it develops

720 PS.
