ISV. cleaned the sucker, still shot. would Bosch PN# 0 280 140 505 fit a early build 90 CQ?

Is your original one the Hitachi unit? If so you need to stick with Hitachi
I bought a coupe that someone put the wrong ISV in (bosch instead of Hitachi) and it had ruined the ECU.
Early 1990 cars (CQ VIN <= 13610) have the Hitachi unit -- Audi P/N 034 133 455 A
Later 1990 cars (CQ VIN > 13610) and all 1991 cars have the Bosch unit -- Audi P/N 034 133 455 B
