The Sparco Modena Carbon Fiber. Cant decide between red/black as in pic or all black since the red is Ferrari red and not very close to my specific car color (laser red).
I'll definately opt for "fixed" alloy side rails instead of any sliding mechanism as drivers seat is limited to my butt only. And fixed alloy rails weigh less than 1/5 (or 20%) of EVERY sliding mechanism I've looked at. Its ALL about the weight!
I really didnt want/need the tilting back with release as used in a coupe but I didnt want to get in/out of a fixed back seat every time I entered or exited the car. However I do like the adjustable lumbar support that comes with the tilting back. This was the only compromise seat I can find that appeals to me. Not as light as I wanted and with bells/buzzers I'll never use. As with everything car-related there are no choices that dont turn into a compromise. Given that and their extreme high cost I'll likely only order 1 originally and if I like it I'll then order its twin. Just WAY too much money to blow on 2 if it turns out the seat just doesnt suit me at all.
I also would've preferred cloth but thats only offered on the fiberglas version of this seat. Unfortunately the carbon fiber seat is only available in leather. Like I said, its "all" a compromise.
