Just completed EFI University's EFI101 course
Over the weekend I attended the efi101 tuning course hosted by XXtuning in Wethersfield Connecticut. With different standalone's on my Audi, my MR2, and my brother's subaru I thought the course would give me a more formal base to do my tuning. Plus I have started to do some local free-lance tuning here in Quebec, so the course gives me some legitimacy in a field where anyone can be a self-proclaimed "tuner".
I went in with low expectations and left surprised at how much good information I was able to get out of the course. Lots of knowledgeable and interesting people attended. First day was basic efi theory, most of the really useful information was from the question and answer sessions and was not written down in the course manual. On the second day the instructor did some demo tuning on a students crazy 930 track car with a motec M48 and a T66 turbo. Made 380WHP at 10psi boost, and has made over 550whp on more boost. Instructor picked up 20 horsepower in 5 minutes just playing with the fueling. I would recommend this course to anyone who plans to install or work with a proper engine management system. I enjoyed it so much I plan on attending the advanced course this May in california. Not a sales pitch for the company, just had a very positive experience with them.

http://www.efi101.com</a
