Default Hard to do with 12V v6

I think it's that way because the 93-95 have the 2.8 12v V6 engine. Hard to tune, not as easy to format a turbo with and just a lot more work and money. Rob k has a turbo in his black 90 12v V6.

Default I think he meant, why don't people throw a 3B or AAN in there..

Not why don't they slap a turbo on the 12v...I could be wrong.

Default the 88-92's are already set up for a 5 cyl, the later cars aren't...

radiator location, mounts, etc, are all ready to go. It would take a lot more work for the later 90's, although it's probably possible with enough $$$ (as always!)
