K&N filter in the stock airbox or Cone filter? What do you use?

I like the look of stock, but is there a substantial increase in power with the cone filter?
Also, I am not crazy about the extra noise of the cone filters. Loud doesn't always mean more power.

a cone might be equilivant to a k&N panel, however a k&N one might be the greatest of all. Def. more airflow than stock, however the air is not filtered as well.

I have a K&N panel from a CQ for sale if anyone wants it, that was the first thing I removed when I bought the car.
I'm trying to find a bigger airbox that will fit the CQ. With the hot-air intake crap removed, there is room for a much bigger airbox, but not enough room for the huge 12v A6 box I have laying around.
