It Lives!!!
$150, and about 1/2 hour from start to finish. Thank goodness I was only at about 1/3 of a tank. Any more petro than that in the tank, and that job would have definately sucked ***!!!

Not at all, the most difficult part was trying to get the large plastic lock ring
on top of the tank back on, for some reason it did not want to grab the threads right, but it finally worked. And if you have any more than about 1/3 of a tank, get some large chemical gloves unless you like the arome of gas on your skin for a few days.

No, I just searched to find out if I could get at the pump without dropping the tank...
once I knew I could, I thought it would not be to difficult, and I guessed right.
