Hey guys,
I just bought a 1990 90q 20V that needs a few things worked on.
First of all i want to get my timing belt, water pump and idler gear out of the way. I have the parts ready to install buti have been having a hard time tracking down the proper tool for the job. So i am in desperate need to rent one as soon as possible, before the city comes knocking to get the car put back together.

I will pay for the rental as well as place deposit if need be. I live in Etobicoke ontario (GTA) but im willing to travel to pick it up in an area outside the GTA.

Line up the crank at TDC using the mark on the flywheel looking through the acess hole in the bellhousing. Make sure the cam/timing gear mark lines up too. Both of these marks are described in the Bentley or on 20V.org as long as you aren't taking the chain off that gets rid of one possible source of misalignment.

After reassembling make sure the marks still line up. Other than geting to eveyrthing, it's not a bad job.
