Default lower temp sensor

There are two temp sensors, a two wire and a four wire, the lower sensor has four wires, the wires on mine were corroded off at the connector. I managed to find a new connector but I don't know which wire goes to which pin. This is on a 1988 80Q. Could one of you take a peak on your temp sensor and let me know which color wire goes to which pin.
Thanks for your help
Al

I've looked in the wiring diagrams, but they only show a 2-wire temp sensor for the 88 80Q.

Not unusual for the wiring diagrams to be inacurite.

the upper sensor is a two wire, the one on the underside of the coolent outlet pipe has four wires. I can't seem to find a diagram, that is why I asked for some one to just take a gander at theirs.

BLU-BRN, "T", coolant temperature gauge
BLU-WHT, "R", A/C control head
BLK-BLU, "+", Fuse #12
BLU-YEL, "C", low coolant warning light

These are for 1990 90, likely the same for 1988 80Q.

Found it, It's called a temp switch, it is found on the wiring diagram for a 1987 coupe quattro(not a US model) right out of the bently manual. This is the CIS E III. Even the wire colors matched and the connector had the pin numbers molded right into it. Now if I could only get my temp gauge to work.
