Default Maintenance Timeline Q

I've got a few things that I'm wondering about how often they should be replaced, or usually become worn out:

Timing Belt
Clutch Master & Slave Cylinders
Lifters
Alternator
Fuel Pump
Catalytic Converter
Ignition Wires
Water Pump
Control Arms / Bushings
o2 Sensor

Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Timing Belt. Some say 60,000km, some say 100,000km as always the choice is yours, but it is very bad if it fails.

Everything else can be left until it fails, breaks, starts rattling, leaks, uses more fuel, starts miss firing, etc., etc., etc....

On cars that often won't throw a check engine light, or have one for that matter, it's not a bad idea to change your O2 sensor every 30,000 or so miles. It's not like they're difficult or expensive if you buy the universal. A catalytic converter can only fail (burn up, plug up, or fall off) from one of two things: Problem with air/fuel getting too rich or lean (02 sensor often) and burning or plugging the element, or you live where ********* throw salt on the roads in the winter and it rots off (Indiana). LATERS,

timing belt is a must or you'll be sorry. Happened to my old car (not audi) before. I kept putting it off even when mechanic kept nagging me about it..One day my engine just shut with no warnings and the car sat on my driveway for a looooong time until funds came about. 60k - 80k is a good time.

The rest you can wait until symptoms appear. O2 sensor is good to replace now to maintain good gas mileage.
