May Issue of European Car Magazine (sorry typo before)- write up on "only" CQ V8 conversion.
has anyone checked out the may issue of automobile mag? There's a good write up on a V8 conversion to a CQ, done by Nic Monterastelli- Here's a quick quote out of the mag:
"Finally at long last, someone has suceeded in transplanting a V8 into a five-speed second-generation Audi Coupe Quattro. Over the years, we've heard plenty of rumors and even received photos or half completed projects, but Monterastelli is the only person we've met to actually complete this swap".
I might be wrong, but hasn't this conversion been completed years ago?

Nick's conversion became "roadworthy" right before the Beddor Nationals last year...
The other Coupe V8 conversion, started a few years ago, was never finished to my knowledge.
