Default Miktip!!!!!! or any one Crank Shaft front oil seal?

Me again, I put the seal in and it still leaked. The alulimum houseing is slightly damaged because of the bolt that hit it. Would it be possible to put gasket glue/sealer in with it. Or wouls that be a bad job?

How long did it take you? We are talking about the front crank seal on a 12 v6 engine? The seal at the bottom of the engine which drives the serp belt.

Default Crank Shaft front oil seal.

Ya we are talking about the front oil seal on a 5 cylinder 10 valve. It is behind the crankshaft pulley. Timeing belt has to be removed and pulley in order to get to it. I am just going to give the sealer a try now and ill let you know how I get on. Thanks MikTip.

I've done it 4 times, because of leaks, and it takes me about 5 hours, because the timing belt has to come out! ;O)
