Default my 96 cab needs a new pwr window control module

Hi-
The power window control module on my Cabriolet has failed. The master control doesn't work and the passenger side power window control doesn't work. Ony the power window switch on the center console still works....but it only opens 3 windows-not the driver's side window.
The power window control module is located just to the left of the steering column,

under the dash. It is next to a black metal can type thing which is the power window
RELAY module. The window control module looks like a couple of circuit boards, sandwiched back to

back, with a few little relays in-between them. It is about 3 in X 3 in. X 1 in. I have

a picture of the old one.
If anyone has one, or can point me in the right direction to get one, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks
Rick

Default I had the same problem, this is worth a shot

it might work (50/50), you can pop off the plastic cap from the control module to expose the inside's. Now, holding the control module face up with the pins pointing upward you'll see a relay looking wind on the left hand side. On this part of the module there should be a tab that contacts in order to supply power for the windows. If it is burnt then you will most likely need a new one, if not then apply some dielectric grease onto the tab and the surrounding area. Now pull down the plug w/harness and plug it into the control module and turn the ignition on. Remember the cover is off so don't get electricuted and watch the tab. If it goes into the contact position and the windows work, then all is well. Now just cycle the ignition a few times and check it.

Its worth a shot, but a brand new one from the dealer is over a $100.00

I tried that...it doesn't look anyhing like that described. Apparently the cover is off the module. I put a link to a few pictures of the module in the image url bos below. If it doesn't work...the addy is: http://rickgranlund.50megs.com
Hope some one can point me in the right direction in getting a new one.

http://rickgranlund.50megs.com</a

Mine is similar but it isn't panelled on both side, just one. I'll snap a pic of mine tomorrow.
