Cleaning Trim...
Ah, well here is what i suggest...since i work at an autobody shop ive removed about a thousand pieces of trim... The best way to do it, get a heat gun, heat them up and then take a putty knife and you will find that once the two sided tape on the other side is warm they peel right off. once you have it off, degreaser will take off any crap that isnt the origional paint. if you scrub the crap out of them with that then they should come out fairly new. Then just get yourself some 2 sided tape and stick them back on. the hardest part is getting the old 2 sided tape off the trim (read: blisters on hands from rubbing) if you dont want to take them off, degreaser will remove any paint that isnt origional and any spots.

Try some tire dressing.
Use some good quality tire cleaner and protectant and it will look better. It will last for a while but you will have to do it again once and a while. Looks better than it does now and its cheaper than replacement.
