Default My brake plan...

-New front rotors (zimmerman x-drilled)
-new ss brake lines all the way around
-leave stock pads for now (the have alot of life left)
-super blue fluid

I'm replacing the rotors now because the stock ones on my car probably wouldn't pass an inspection at this point. I need to replace the fluid pretty badly as well.

Default BTW, BillzCat1 makes SS lines.

I'd ask him for his price and shop arround.

Always.

Saves the new rotors from wearing funny.

Default Or "resurface" the current pads. ;O)

Run the pads around on a sheet of 40 grit sand paper, placed on a flat surface. 'Old Racer Trick' ;O)

Default Yup.

A buddy just resurfaced the pads on his rally car. Forget sandpaper...he used the sidewalk out front!

I prefer 10sec on my grinder...but grandpa did teach me to "never do anything by hand that you can use a power tool for".

for the cost and time, I think a set of Hawks might be worth it (you're gonna have it all apart eh)

Default The HPS, might not be enough for yah? I had Hawk HPS pads.........

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/6607/drildisktop.jpg"></center><p>
back when I had the OEM brakes, actually still do have them, and Brembo Drilled rotors, and I wasnt really impressed with the Hawk HPS, so I moved up 1 notch to the Hawk HP+. Noticably more bite from the HP+ pads, over the HPS's. ;O)

I currently run the Hawk pads, with my 993 brakes.
