I was out having fun in the snow the other day doing 360's and what not. Anyway on the way home comming to a stop sign I i slid into the curb and now both of my fron wheels point outward. Passenger wheel looks as though slightl turning right and viseversa.
Any ideas?
My first one was that it was the tierod end. However i checked it and it looks ok. I replaced the tie rod end and baljoint the summer on the passenger side, which is the side that hit.
thanks in advance..
happy new year

you may have bent your ball joint. or possibly the tie rod. My little brother brushed the curb and his ball joint was bent up pretty bad. you may also want to look at your subframe that could have tweeked from the curb hit. let me know what you find out.

From just viewing alone i can't see anything that seems shifted. I removed the wheel and did an inspection. The ball joint is new and dosen't seem to be shifted in anyway. Nor does the tie rod end.
Is it possible to have bent the part where the tie rod bolts into the strut. I don't saw it would require too much of a bend to put my wheel out a few degrees.
the control arm looks to be ok too. But like i said i only did a back yard inspection in the snow. I will take a better look this weekend.
thanks
