Default my coupe

recently my 1995 coupe 2ltr 16v brokedown.
a bolt holding a pulley on the alternator belt snapped, i have lost the belt, the pulley and bent the valves and bust the head. To be fixed with audi parts will cost around £2500, the car only cost £3500. does anybody have any bright ideas as to what would be the best course of action?

Sell it for parts, give it away, or put a head in it. I got to say though 2500 is a lot for a head. There is no reason you cant pick up a used one for under a 1000. Same with the pulley, get it used. The bolts, get them brand new.

Are these prices for used or new? For used parts in the UK go to www.allaudi.co.uk

Default you might check this out

Might cost a bit more but you'd be left with a much better car. I believe with parts commonly found on ebay.de you can get parts to turn your 2.0L into a turbo. or even with shipping to the UK, you can find a head, much cheaper than 2500 quid. for instance you could buy this, drive it home and be better off (after taking the head and selling the remaing parts)

below link shows that it will be worth your while to get a head from germany if you can't find what you need in blighty<ul><li><a href="http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&amp;category=33597&amp;item =7922808918&amp;rd=1&amp;ssPageName=WDVW">zylinder kopf</a></li></ul>
