My neighbor (who used to have an '88 90 a few years back) just got a 944 turbo!

Man, I'm so jealous! It's an '86 and has the factory sport suspension (apparently it had this option for 1 year). It's got an Auto-Authority chip, upgraded clutch/flywheel, and a few other goodies that make 280-300 hp at the crank.
My dad used to have one when I was 7. As soon as I got in, that 80s porsche smell started giving me memories! The interior looks like it's never been sat in, and the exterior doesn't have a single nick in it.
I think I'm going to officially call off my search for a '95 90 quattro and start my search for a 944 TURBO. I'd keep my 90 in addition to the 944 TURBO.

We all know porsches can be a PIA to fix, but from what i hear the 944's and such arnt that bad if you buy them 87 and up the 84 85 86's are the problem childs apperently. However the highere the year on a porsche the more expensive it is when your looking for something like a 944.
