anyone know of a good way to hold the vibration damper? i tried to stick something in it..just spun... need to find a new way...maybe puttin the car in gear? damn i hate it when i solve my own problems mid forum post...lol

Using the tranny isn't a good idea from what I hear.
You you can use the "tranny bolt" method, which uses a tranny mounting bolt in the side of the bellhousing and into a hole in the side of the flywheel.
