need to locate central locking unit in my cabby.....

where would i find this unit and what does it look like as i need to fit my remote locking system and this box needs to be found. i have six wires to fit does this sound about right, what locking type is the cab cuz there are 4 variants in the remote manual that can be used....

Remote control central locking system, components
1 - Control module radio control
Mounted under rear seat bench.
2 - Wiring harness/integrated antenna
1-2 meters (3.3-6.4 ft.) of antenna cable is insulated and fastened to wiring harness with cable ties.
Approx. 20 cm (7.8 in.) of antenna cable is non-insulated and fastened with two adhesive strips to the left wheelhousing.
3 - As many as four transmitters are possible for radio-remote operation
Removing and installing control module -J276-
- Remove rear seat bench and seat back
- Loosen radio control module mounting bolts.
- Disconnect wiring harness connector at control module.
- Install in reverse order of removal.

i used g-maxx springs but not sure if available in u.s they are cheap and say -35mm but more like -40mm, as for shocks i've used bilstiens.
slightly springy ride but you get what u pay for but having air fitted one day so not to concerned. any kit would be a bonus from having all that body roll on standard springs/shocks lol......

is this description for a car fitted with remote already or does it not matter/ same place anyway....
thanks for your quick response 96cab.
you woulnt know what wires i need to hack into would you, i have 3 for poitive and 3 for negative i assume, either way i have 6 wires that need to be hooked up for this to work.

which is different than what they said in the other pic (i'll load in a sec) and there were no detailed wiring schematics. I have not had to mess with mine yet so i can't really help you out any.
The reason i asked about your bilstiens was because the bilstien rep. told me that they don't make a shock to fit the rear of a cabriolet, only the front. If you have any way to find out i'd appreciate the help, if not, thanks anyway.
