So after getting pulled over twice on Sunday for running w/o plates I finally sat through the hell that is the DMV to get the car in my name. When I went to put on the plates I discovered that the rat bastard previous owner apperantly had some trouble getting the rear license plate off. It looks like either the screws were rusted stuck or he couldn't figure out how to work them and he decided to rip the plate off the holder. So I'm left with busted holes where the license plate attachment points should be.

Anyone have a rear plate surround they can part with? Is it just those 2 bolts in the center that hold that part on?

...the license plate bracket has 4 nuts on the backside which you put bolts into to hold the plate on.

The little holes that you screw the license plate into also break easily. I ripped mine out and replaced all of them (with epoxy to hold them in there) then cleaned and re-installed the black license plate piece.

I think I need the bracket as well as the black piece that is the trim between the tailights

#30 being the bracket

#35 being the anchors in the trunklid

#36/37 being the screws/washers that go into the above anchors

#43 being the nuts on the backside of the trim piece (i'd imagine a new one comes with them).

#41/42 being the bolts/washers that attach the license plate to the nuts above.
