I tried to pull the code, but no success. Car was parked in neutral, after running for about 1 or two minutes, I inserted a fuse(10), wait for 6 secs, checked back, didn't see any flash. Tried a couple times, the same. There was one time that engine shut down when I was counting the secs, still no flash on. I am pretty sure I have a working bulb in the socket since I saw the engine light the first time I turned on the ignition. Do I have to literally drive it to pull the code? I just don't understand why there's no code even when the engine shut off. Besides, engine runs poor in idle, about 500 rpm, and can die really quick.

All right, I was stupid. I couldn't find a spare fuse at that time, so I took one from the box, thought it was not used, but actually is for the control unit!
I did the test after waiting for one minute, got only 4444. After I wrote it down, the engine shut down again. Came out of car, insert the fuse again, and this time all long flash. So basically I didn't get anything from it. Guess I have to drive it out. I just don't see how I can manage to get it running for 5 minutes.
I have a question, should I be able to pull an error code even after the engine shut down, if I haven't turn the ignition off?

Is there any other way to pull the code?
I tried today again. Car stalled every minutes and it's getting much harder to start than a couple weeks ago. I barely made it back home. Yet I could not get any code other than 4444 from it. Is there any other to do it?

The code 4444 indicates that there is no store codes. Sound like your fuel pump relay is cutting out. Find the fuel pump relay and replace it with a known good one. As a test you can use a jumper; remove the fuel pump relay and find the two large spade, use the jumper to bridge the two large spade, if the jumper works replace the fuel pump relay. Do not drive the car with just the jumper, this is only used for testing.

Can you take a picture of what it is look like? I can still start my car after stalls, but it gets harder and harder recently.
