Need some help here, please. Re: interior of car.
So, I was taking the interior of my car apart this weekend and got stuck. I wanted to remove the panel surrounding the shifter and e-brake. I got all the bolts off and the whole thing was loose. How do I get it around my e-brake? Maybe a better question is, how do i take my e-brake lever apart? I was not able to slide the panel off and around the e-brake lever. What the crap?
Thanks,
Mike

The piece behind the ebrake handle is the key.;o) It needs to be removed.
To do so ya need to look for a small square slot on the passenger side of it. Its tucked up under the small lip, near the top and very front.
You can use a small flat blade screw driver in it.
What it does is release the plastic tab which holds on the e-brake handle. Ya got to manipulate the small screwdriver in the small hole, and pull the ebrake handle off towards the dash at the same time.
Once the handle is removed you remove the black plastic contour piece behind the handle, by sliding it off the e-brake towards the dash.
Then the e-brake panel can be removed.

Re: E-brake.
i left that cover off of my car...just don't drop things in there (almost dropped the blaupunkt remote in there once...). it was pretty retarded to get off the first time, but now that i've done it, no big deal...
