All,
I'm about to replace the blue top on our 97 Cabriolet and the shop just called to tell me the blue headliner they quoted months ago is not available. Any sources I should check?

Headliners can be tough and the after-market stuff can be difficult to install. Getting one in blue may be impossible. Rock Auto lists two in black, with a 15 day delay. Probably time for production as it is not on the shelve. $229 or $362 depending on material.

I wonder if there’s someplace overseas that has them.
I remember seeing your Cabriolet for sale, did it find a new home?

Hi Vintage..I think the black would be fine. As I recall, replacement sun visors were only available in black whereas the originals were color coordinated with the interior. Mine were grey and the NOS replacements were black. It is a neutral color and not noticeable.
Yes, I did sell my cabriolet, regrettably. Wonderful car and a great driver. Went to an Audi aficionado in Texas.
