ok, started ripping parts out of my suspension. i managed to destroy my sway bar link bushings and balljoints taking the control arms off. and by the way, the nuts on the inner control arm bolts are in the owrst place ever. i heated a wrench and bent it with a hammer to save me some frustration.
so when i got the control arm on the passenger side off, the bushing literally fell out of it. well, most of it did. great.
so i looked thorugh the parts i had ordered for the job, and noticed i had had the forsight to only buy one balljoint, and no sway bar link bits. so, i placed another order.
however, the unsprung steering test is a good sign that the driving with the poly bushings will make ghandi look like a child pornographer.
so the control arms will come out again friday when the sway bar bits arrive, they shall be cleaned, rust removed, and repainted.
all of this while the jackstands my car is on very slowly sink into my dirt driveway.
next on the agenda. 95 sport wheels. of course, i gotta find some first.
