I'm not at all sure why you removed the "glass" from the front just to install the rings. I have installed several rings for myself and other ppl and have never once removed the "glass". Seems like a ton of time and potential for damage. Just push them through and use fingers to snug them tight...

Another note...none of the rings fit perfectly...a sanding dremel really makes life easy at this point..just shave off a little and they fit like a glove.
FYI...if you need new instrument cluster housings...I think I have about 12 of them left...housings and "glass" only, but would send you one if you would like..beats paying through the nose at a parts scrapper when all you really need is the housing..not the guts. Let me know...
