new oil

5w-30 right now, mainly because....
it hasnt been above freezing in quite some time. During the summer i use 10w-40.
Im assuming the Boulder in your name means you are from Colorado. IMO 15w-50 isnt exactly the best oil to have in the winter months, mainly because its a lot thicker than a 10w-40 or 5w-30, which will make it harder to get it pumped into ur engine when its cold.

In the '93 I am using Valvoline MaxLife 5w30 (for Winter) , 10w30 (for the rest of the year)...
...for the '95 I just bought I might try Mobile 1, if not, probably just regular Valvoline 5w30/10w30...

I agree - I had 15w-50 here in TX and it was too heavy for Texas winters (which are nothin, compared
to Canada, NE US, etc.
Anywhere with snow and ice, I'd say 5w-30 in the winter; 10w-40 or 15w-50 in the summers.
