Default Newbi brake vs vin number question

Hi, I'm 18 and I am from Québec, Canada. I bought a pretty strong 90 quattro which is my fourth car (I'm sold to VAG product ). inline 5 20v, manual trans. The car is in really good shape, but I gotta buy a fuel pump and front brake setup. I was shopping for the brakes on that website : http://www.familycar.com/store/index...sc&No=0&Npp=10
they have interresting prices. But I can't buy a set, I don't know which one is the good one. If my Vin number is WAUHE08A0LAXXXX. Which brakes may I take. I'm lost. Do I have single piston calipers, double??? Anything else I gotta know before choosing the fuel pump and brakes?

Thanks a lot guy, sorry for my english

P.s. Can someone give me a good website where I can buy parts for my quattro

P.s.s I LOve the quattro.

I'd say that you need to look at your front brakes to start with. The dual piston caliper is pretty large and has G60 cast into it. Most 1990 sedans do not have G60's, but the smaller single piston G54 with the smaller brake rotors. The other give-away is the G60 uses a 276mm rotor diameter. The G54 uses 250-something mm. You can always look up information on 20v.org or audi20v.net.

Canadian parts outlet, I can't help you there.

EBC Dimpled And Slotted are grate, match it with their brake pads and youll have some good stopping power :-) and as cuatrokoop said, you need to look at the caliper, also if you wanted to upgrade, find some G60 calipers and put those on, they provide a bit batter stopping power then the G54s and are direct bolt on :-)

Default Remember

Just remember that if you upgrade to G60's you have to upgrade to 15" wheels if you aren't already there.

Not gonna go for the bigger brakes. Just upgrade the stock brakin components.
