I am in the process of installing keyless entry and possibly a completely new alarm system. This could possibly explain the interior light ****e, but I don't think so.
I don't have keyholes anymore just the 90 sedan vs rear door handles. Is the stock alarm shut off by holding the key in a particular position?
Thanks
Josh

...I set the alarm/RKE up to activate the central locking system. As long as I didnt lock the car with the key (thus activating the alarm) it was never activated. Basically, the factory alarm is activated/deactivated by the switches in the door locks. By utilizing the RKE at the central locking unit, it bypassed the factory alarm altogether. HTH.
