no codes from computer.
i followed 20v.org but my diode is always on. connector B2 isnt wired. diode shuts off when i pull fuse #21. i connect A1 and B1 for at least 4 seconds but nothing happens (yeah ignition switch is on). i just dont know. if i dont have any codes in it it should give me at least 4 long flashes.

You are doing it wrong likely...
it seems easy but you must do it perfectly or it will not work. I also had trouble until I did it a few times.
There seemed to be a little trick I forgot to do but I can't think of it.
Read teh directions and study the picture a little more carefully. I think the picture on 20v.org is a bit deceiving, check the Bentley.
