While driving down the highway coming home from work on Friday, the radio and Climate Control quit simultaneously. It is not a fuse (#4 15 amp), because the other accessories (reading lights, etc.) are still working. The Climate Control does become 'backlit' while the headlights are on and the amp in the trunk is receiving power . What electrical connection (probably behind dash) would tie both of these together? I just don't have the patience to go hunting for an electrical issue. At first I thought it may be an ignition switch, but I don't believe that is the issue. Any suggestions / solutions would be appreciated.
