No start...
Background:
Drove car home from visiting the gf about 35 minutes away. Went out about 22 hours later to start the car, and while it cranked, and tried to catch, it never started.
At this point there was probably only 5l of fuel left in the tank (mileage light was blinking on the MFD). Went to the local gas station, filled up a jerry can with 20l, and put it in the car. Went inside.
Came out an hour later, and same deal. No start. Tried to boost the car in case it was battery related. No dice.
I left the key on accessory, and what I assume is the oil pressure light came on. I've never seen this before, but it reminded me that I had left 20w50 in the engine for the winter (changed it last in late October) and it was -15 outside at this point (celsius)
I more or less wrote the problems off to cold weather at this point, and I decided to wait until it was warmer to start again.
Came back to the car today, 12 degrees warmer, and tried to start it. Same symptoms as before (no start) except that it was much less closer to catching at this point than it was before.
Injectors are new (034) as of 2 months ago and I can hear them clicking when I have someone else try to start the car. Plugs are about a year and a half old but maybe they have become fouled?
At this point I'm looking towards the coil or the distributor.
Any thoughts?
