Default Not sure this is a good thing...

"Audi today is not what it was 10 years ago," Mr. Stadler said in an interview in this Bavarian town. "We are more ambitious; we have a different product portfolio; and we want to play in a different league."<ul><li><a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2007/03/03/automobiles/03audi.html?pagewanted=1&amp;ei=5070&amp;en=564634 6f5c64427a&amp;ex=1173675600&amp;emc=eta1">http://www.nytimes.com/2007/03/03/automobiles/03audi.html?pagewanted=1&amp;ei=5070&amp;en=5646

Default "we want to play in a different league."

So true. They clearly do not want to play in this league. Audi is only concerned about the market that they do not have; they couldn't care less about the market that they already have. Try reading some other automotive forums where Audi is mentioned as a possible next vehicle: poor quality of service is usually cited as a reason to avoid Audi.

Default Poor quality of service is due to a poor dealers. Plus....

You usually hear about bad experiences more often than bad ones.

Not sure what's unclear to everybody but Audi, as all others, are in this to make money. If they can sell luxury, sure why not? VW, as part of a VAG group, can sell cheaper cars. Seat is even cheaper and Skoda is the cheapest of all. Its a simple formula.

With that said, I totally hate the looks of new A5 - to me, its a carbon copy of 3 series coupe.
