<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/35523/drain_hose.jpg"></center><p>Can someone confirm or deny my fear that the evaporator on my '94 90 CSQ is shot? My A/C no longer puts out cold air and there was a large puddle of clear oil on my garage floor on the passenger side of the car. The subframe also has a coating of oil. I checked the evaporator drain hose and it is all oily too.

I understand the dash has to come off to replace the evaporator. If the evaporator is bad, is it a good idea to replace the heater core at the same time. What else probably should be done.

Change both heater core and evaporator. Have the heater core pressure tested at a radiator repair shop to be super safe you don't do the job twice!

Absolutely. Reservoir is at the full mark.

I did it to my 90...twice. (Don't buy a used evap core.) Install a new heater core and evap core.

Hopefully the heater core is German made.

Any recommendations on where to locate new evap and core for a reasonable price?
