Default Oil Pan Gasket Removal?

I removed the oil pan but after removal...the bolts in the center where the oil pump is, I can't get the oil pump off. Any tips for removing it? So I may remove the oil pan gasket.

Default Well here evaluate this.

There is some sort of object there and its the only thing holding the gasket to the oil pan on yet, even after removing the bolts. Which I think is 19 or 18 bolts that hold the bottome part of the lower oil pan on. Then in the middle another 14 bolts where removed from what looks like maybe a filter. Either way all the bolts are off but whatever in the center is there wont brake free.

Thanks. And thats all the bolts as in 14 bolts. I am sure thats all the bolts because thats not only all I could find but all I see on the new gasket.

Default Its probably stuck on by the gasket? May need to pry it off gently! ;O)

The V6 has 2 different oil systems.

The first pic I posted is the older AAH system.

The second is the newer, 1995+ oil system.
