Oil pressure guage pegged high much of the time - correct?

So, at idle the oil pressure gauge is between 3-4 bars, and at normal operating rpms it is almost pegged at 5 bars. Is this normal behavior for a 20V? I am chasing a small oil leak and thought I'd ask in case there is an oil pressure pump spring that weakens and lets the oil stay too high or similar known issue. Thanks!
Also, my oil temp seems to sit at the first mark above 60 deg C after the engine warms - normal?

Thanks! I come from a world where gauges are designed so that the "normal range" of what is being displayed is near the center of the needle travel. So, a little curious. Thanks.
