but honestly, I would not have gone used on a $50 new part. Thats my opinion.

it's a metal line that goes from the goes from the radiator on the driver's side to the back of the driver's side head, loops around to the pass side head, and has a y-pipe that goes next to the valley pan and to the front of the block itself...

that's easily a few hundred dollar part. I haven't looked, but I'm pretty sure it's NOT cheap.

I pulled it out last night and looked it over. I got the bleeder plug out. I would probably be *ok* with it, but honestly, I don't want to mess with a coolant line, esp since I have the engine all apart now. That crease will cause a restriction in flow, and if it would ever fail I'd make a big mess and risk really f'in up the engine... so I'd rather be safe than sorry I guess.

A used metal part isn't an issue to me... just need to replace the o-ring seals...

sorry, I thought you meant the heater hose return line with the bleeder valve. Yeah, I'm not real sure if they are 100% interchangeable, but I think it should be. And yeah, it probably is not cheap.

let's hope it is... otherwise I guess I'll do a return to Chris and exchange it + $$ for the A4 one.

If they're not the same though I'm gonna be bitter for sure :-\
