Ok, how about a poll? What does it take you guys to street-race somebody?

First of all, my 4kq is loud, no resonation, and the exhaust piping seems to be larger diameter. This results in a deep raspy sound sometimes. I didnt put it on, the PO did.
Anyways, when I first got the car I was testing it at lights and such, turning left, right and so on. I was at a left turn light, I gun it, and at the next light a guy in a mid 80's Cavalier is like "you wanna race for slips?!" Immediately I think "why me". I guess he thought my car was fast because it sounded so, hah.
But, I know its not fast, and the exhaust note is annoying :\

if someone thinks they're a badass...I slow down when I'm about five miles per hour over the speed limit...then the person in their cavalier or crap box flies by me and thinks that they are a badass...take it to the track or an auto-cross is all that I think of...stright-line racing is not that cool IMO...

My friend was in his Taurus at like 3 in the morning. and another person pulls up to a red light in a nissan (don't know nissan names very well, but it hauled, like 300zx or something), he revs the engine and looks at my friend, so my friend punches it while the light is red. Smoked his ***. ha

I often get the change to race people...most people have no idea what the car packs. I often get asked if its a turbo. If its your typical 16 year old in a civic I'll rev at him, hold my revs at 3k until it goes green. He'll take off like a bat out of hell and I'll grandma it laughing all the way.
