Default OK, This time I searched. Stock radio questions.

My car came with a stock tape deck in the back seat, and one of the plugs cut.

I can..

Run to the junkyard and return with a plug.

Use spade connectors on the back of the radio.

Buy an aftermarket radio and have it installed.

I would like to play CD's. I see no clear indication of is that is possible with the stock radio. Are the cars trunk CD ready?

As my stock radio has been in the back seat, unplugged, for a few years, will I need a code?

And my last question..

The trunk is *huge* How many dead hookers can I fit in there? Owners manual is no help here, I called the local dealer and thet couldn't help either.

Default You'd be better off just upgrading the headunit to a CD player and wiring that in...

...because the CD changers are not wired in, and you'll need to use a Gamma CC headunit with the matching (not so easy to find) Audi CD changer. And you're right, you'll need the radio code for your stock headunit. You'll have to run new wires to the rear doors for the new speakers you'll want to install as well.

Default Stock Gamma head unit doesn't have the ability to control a CD changer, only the BOSE version...

...nor are Gamma/non-BOSE cars prewired for a changer.
