I posted a while back about my car over heating. I took some time out and looked over the car. Let the car sit and run and when it heated up the fans never went on. I am not sure where the fuse is for the fans but what I did find out was that there is this group of wires that lead into a plug towards the bottom of the radiator. That plug is not plugged in. Here is what sucks I can not find the other end to the plug and after examining the three wires it appears that someone did some probing, as there are holes in each wire. I think the wire colors were red with blue tracer, red with black tracer, and brown. Does anyone have a wiring diagram of this? Again it is for an 88 Audi 90 4 cylinder. TIA

As a guess I'd say the plug is the two-speed thermo-switch. It should connect to the cooling fan, looking into the engine bay, bottom right hand side. Without the thermo-switch connected the system believes the temp. to be too low, hence the fans won't spin up.
Hope that helps.
Hope that helps.
